About Me

     May I introduce you to us.  Now I know what your thinking,
Whoa...
We get that a lot, but hang on for one second and I can explain.  This is my family, I'm the kid in the middle, and all those other guys are my bothers, and my only sister.  You know I often wonder what my life would be like without these guys, one thing for sure it would be different.  If there were only me, it would be totally boring for one, and I would never get to laugh with anyone, or hang out with anyone or even just talk.
I'd be alone.
And I know for a fact, that if you were to ask any one of the others kids how they felt about our big family they would give you a positive answer.
     Granted, we all get on each others nerves from time to time, but who doesn't?
     So before I go any further, let me give you the run down.  The guy in the hat is the oldest, he is my brother Mitch.  I'm standing right next to him in the white, my name is Abby.  Nathan is in the green, and Jillian in front of him, the kid in the stroller is Douglas and last but not least my little buddy Timmy.  This picture was taken last summer so I'll give you are current ages.

     The reason I started this blog is not only so I can brag about my family, it is so I can share them with you and also share with you what I love to do.
Baking.
     If there were no such thing as cakes, cookies, and pies, you know that good stuff there would be no reason for me to be here, but since there is I'd like to show it all to you.  I have been baking for about 4-5 years now, and I've come a long way from when I started but still have a much longer way to go.  I recently took some the Wilton method cake decorating courses at my local Michael's craft store and had a blast with that.  So far I have made one wedding cake, and several cakes that people ordered from me, and countless cakes over the years for those guys up there.
     So if you haven't gotten the picture yet, I am crazy about baking, and I do it any chance I get. So by putting this blog together I will be able to show you the thinks that I have created over the years, new recipes that I've tried, and old ones.  Even some family cherished ones, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and I'll be waiting to hear what you have to say in the comment box.  If you have any problems with anything email me, I will get back to you very soon.
